Plus watch out for a feature set at the event Subjectivity planned for August — more details nearer the time.
Last month I mentioned that I have been working on a new series of work (and researching and working with various musicians) for some time, to create some new, refreshing and challenging material. This month I’m ready to share some of it with you.
Certificate 18 is a series of interconnected written works (poetic episodes), where each episode is a scene in a bigger collective story.
The goal is to record each of the episodes in a studio with a musical score, sound effects, and actors for each scene. Effectively I’m creating an ‘audio movie.’
After various collaborative efforts with musicians of great skill, I selected the renowned and award winning producer Danny Langsman (aka Bigfoot from Shanks & Bigfoot), creator of the the UK number 1 pop track ‘Sweet like chocolate’ as the musician to work with in this particular project.
Listen to the demo track HERE.
The characters involved in the episode each have their own profiles that can be viewed to gain more of an insight into them.
