DRUM-FM was conceived and created by Marque Gilmore while transporting between the flats of East London and the streets of Downtown Brooklyn, influenced and inspired by the theme of interconnection through the metaphorical instrument of the Pirate Radio Station, the "global village" atmosphere of the Rave experience, and the impetus of the Jazz Musician (or rather, the "Musical Alchemist"). The subsequent "Tribal Broadcast" of DRUM-FM produces an original and complex tapestry of "science-friction drum & space."
